This means as little wasted time and effort as possible, and keeps the prime on you for as short of a time as possible. When constructing your fence, remember that dinosaurs are pretty big things; as such, you should aim to build a fence that’s around 4-5 pieces high. This should keep even the biggest creature from simply waltzing over the top and into your base. To build the Tree House base, I highly recommend using the flying cheat to make things much easier. If you don’t want to use that, you need to start with Stairs and build your way up.
Building Materials
I found an amazing Lake House build and it’s from CurtisBuilds on YouTube. Curtis built his Lake House base on Longitude 65.5 and Latitude 47.8 which is right in the middle of where three rivers converge just northeast of Red Peak. Those are the basic steps you’ll need to get started with a base, but if you have some extra materials, it can be expanded a bit more. Yea a cooker is something I need to add to the outside area, ours is currently in the house which is ok but not super efficient. Though soon we will have the Quetz platform saddle set up with bits on it so may pop a cooker on that.
Efficient base designs?

Depending on the type of server you join, you might quickly discover that much of the island has already been claimed by other tribes, making it tough to set up a base of your own. Often, tribes will reserve land to prevent others from building nearby, usually by placing down foundations or pillars. Pillars, unlike foundations, don’t block valuable resources from spawning around them, so you’ll likely see them most. Once you’ve made it through your first few minutes on the island without dying (congrats!), you’ll want to consider building a base. We don't even have a wall built (we did on legacy) and are just trying to reduce the lag in our area as much as we can by keeping the structures simple. When it comes to inspiration for a base build, I find my base location is actually the most important part of it all.

Plus the base is now fairly alpha proof (although I do want to put another layer of metal walls on the inner layer, just in case for Alpha Rexes/Gigas). When you’re ready to establish your first base, you’ll ideally want to find a spot that offers easy access to the game’s most frequently-used resources - namely Wood, Thatch, Fibre and Stone. One big building, use ramps and greenhouse ceilings (to catch egss) to store most of our dino's off the main floor which houses our troughs for raising, fridges, etc. hatchery is part of same building just a blocked off section. He's helped fuel a bit of creativity in a few of my base designs, and I've even incorporated a couple of his smaller structures into my main base. I've also built a series of pit fall traps across the Ragnarok map that use a base-like design. Here's my Ragnarok 'Canyon Outpost', used for taming Spinos.

Additionally, most crafting and cooking items have high level variants (such as the Industrial Grill, Industrial Cooker, Industrial Forge and Refrigerator) for greater efficiency. Another stunning creation by Sven P, made with a mix of wood and stone, and built on a Forest Titan’s back! A beautiful treehouse design, that its monster-tree substructure beats its overall classic design.
What are the best base designs in Ark Survival Ascended
The best place to build a Tree House base is Redwood Forests which is directly southwest of Red Peak. Ark has many strange quirks of its terrain that with a little creativity and a lot of annoying snap points, can actually become signature features of your Arkitecture. I would suggest building in stone only or a rex might do some serious damage. Put the "important" stuff in the center of the base, away from those walls. If you have half a dozen high level Rexes tamed, or decide to put down a ton of species X/Turrets then it might not be such a worry, but personally I like having the extra level of safety plus large taming pens.

Finally, metal structures are impervious to everything but explosives. Things are slightly different on PvE servers, of course, where only wildlife can damage your base. My current taming pits simply use natural geography and some B.
If you need a refresher on any of that, feel free to check out the earlier chapters in this guide. Another great Ark Survival Ascended base design I found is the Raft Base. The cool thing about this Raft Base build which is brought to us by Yodesla on YouTube is it’s extremely well-fortified and almost impossible for other players to break. Ark Survival Ascended is known for crazy base designs and crazy heists to break into them. Whether you’re going for style or staying power, here are the best base designs in Ark Survival Ascended. I'm currently building an 'archive' castle on a non-dedicated server.
When it comes to base building, you can be as practical, or as fanciful, as you please. All bases will share a number of core elements, of course - and you’ll have slightly different requirements depending on whether you play on a PvP server or PvE. Initially, however, all you’ll need to build is a place to keep you safe from the world outside - so four walls, a ceiling and a foundation to put it all on should suffice. In practical terms, almost anything can destroy a thatch structure, while wooden structures are sturdy enough to keep out most mid-sized creatures. Stone structures can withstand attack from everything but alpha predators (the glowing, super-tough raptor and T. rex variants), as well as bosses, the Giganotosaurus, ballista turrets, explosives and metal weapons.
It is on Ark Survival Evolved, but the build should be very similar on Ascended. It’ll show you everything you need and how to get started. Then, couch and place a Foundation directly in the middle of the rudder after moving forward a bit and sinking it. There should be a little crack in the middle of your raft which you can interact with to drive your raft. This allows you to drive your raft from the top which allows you to craft a house on your raft and keep it well defended. To make the base, he planted Wood Pillars and Beams on the river floor as a foundation.
I don't have a certain taste in genres, so I try every type of video game I stumble across, from racing games, to RPGs, to shooters - anything that clicks in me I play it, and if i become obsessed with it, I'll also write about it .
